As you know, one of our major activities throughout the year is the Running Dinner, an event that combines our most favorite activities: Food and bringing people together. As unusual times call for unusual measures, the Online Echo is still bringing all of us together through food, especially because spending a lot of time in the house has lead to some awsome culinary discoveries. In this section, we have collected some of our favorite recipes for you to try out while we look forward to trying out your own recipes as well. Read at your own risk! ;-)
- 500g flour
- 300ml water
- 1 sachet of dried yeast
- 1 pinch of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- some dried tomatoes,
- some fresh rosemary
How to do it:
- Add yeast and sugar to the water and let it sit to activate the yeast for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and salt and kneed by hand or machine for 3-5 minutes, until you have a smooth dough. Transfer the dough in a large bowl, covered with a tea towel.
- Let the dough rest for at least one hour, overnight is even better. In that case, cover the bowl with cling wrap to prevent the dough from drying out.
- Line the backing tin with parchment paper. While working the dough as little as possible, transfer the dough on the baking tin and bring it to a rectangular shape.
Bake for 25 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. Add the tomatoes and the rosemary and a sprinkle of salt 5 minutes before the end and press them lightly in the dough before baking for the last 5 minutes.
"Looking super delicious! Thank you very much!"
